Prep Team
SPARKS BLUE SOX PREP TEAM
The Sparks Blue Sox Prep Team is a middle school aged (7th & 8th grade) team designed to allow players the opportunity of player development and growth as they prepare for high school level competition. The Prep Team season traditionally runs from early March through early May. Games will be played on Sunday at various locations throughout the valley.
We will have a parent informational meeting in early January at Reed High School. We will discuss tryout information, the Spring schedule, and other important information regarding the upcoming season.
The Blue Sox Prep team tryouts will tentatively be scheduled for late January at Lee Mitchell Field (Reed HS).
After the season, players will have the opportunity to participate in the Sparks Blue Sox Summer Program. The summer program runs from the middle of May through early July. Additional fees will apply.
The Prep Team cost is $450 per player for the Prep season.
The Sparks Blue Sox program takes player safety very seriously. Our workouts and schedule are designed with this in mind. We require players and parents not participate in other baseball type programs while involved in our Sparks Blue Sox program. If players are discovered to play for multiple teams during our season, they will be removed from the program. No refund will be granted.
